[job_card.job_description]Admit surgical patients to include health history & med intake Verify and mark appropriate surgical site / validify consent form IV start / surgical site prep Accurate and thorough patient charting Post-anesthesia care Discharge teaching and instruction Nursing activities related to care of the patient having orthopedic surgery, to include total joint replacement Support the patient care cycle by providing compassionate, patient-centered quality care to TCO patients and family members Other duties as assigned Health insurance Dental insurance Vision Insurance Paid time off 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee assistance program Life insurance Current Washington State RN license Current ACLS / BLS, or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire Ability to think critically Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment IV start experience 2 Years nursing experience Experience in ICU / ER Newly graduated nurses okay

Summary :
The Surgery Center at Tri-City Orthopaedic Clinic, P.S.C. is looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who will thrive in the team environment of our Pre-Op / Post-Op unit. Our surgery center serves patients having procedures with any of our surgeons who specialize in hand / wrist / elbow, shoulder, hip, knee, or foot / ankle joints.
