[job_card.job_description]Perform a wide variety of general building maintenance and repair services to include HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Install light bulbs, doors, bulletin boards, and cabinets. Paint interior and exterior walls; assemble furniture. Perform preventative maintenance and equipment repairs. Keep equipment records of repairs and preventative maintenance performed. Keep all work areas and mechanical rooms clean, safe and well organized. Create and maintain a good parts and material inventory and accountability of tools. Perform other duties as assigned.

OBJECTIVE :
The Maintenance Technician performs duties as assigned which contribute to the proper functioning and appearance of the facility. This job reports to the Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Engineer, and / or the Facilities and Operations Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :
- At least 2-5 years of experience knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certificate in HVAC is required, building maintenance technology or relevant field.
- Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems.
- Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.
- Able sit, stand, lift and / or move up to 50lbs+, daily uses of hands, fingers to handle objects, tools or controls.
