Nuclear Project Manager (Mechanical Engineering Components)

Join the team shaping the next generation of clean nuclear power. As a Project Manager (ASME Components) , you'll lead complex, first-of-a-kind (FOAK) nuclear technology projects that advance the design, fabrication, and deployment of innovative SMR systems. Reporting to the Director, SMR Product Development, and this role will manage internal and / or external projects related to the SMR design.

You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to deliver ASME Section III–compliant components , ensuring projects meet critical milestones in cost, schedule, quality, and innovation.

Location : Houston, Texas or Remote

Travel : 25% Travel

Contract Role : 40 Hours a week

W2 Hourly Compensation : (Commensurate with experience)

Citizenship : U.S. Citizenship is required.

What You Bring

• 10+ years of project management experience in nuclear or complex energy systems.
• Proven background managing ASME BPVC Section III or pressure vessel / piping design projects.
• Deep understanding of PWR systems, nuclear QA standards (10 CFR 50 App. B, 10 CFR 21, NQA-1).
• Strong command of PMI / PMBOK principles and Earned Value Management (EIA-748-C).
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Must be eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810 regulations.
