We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team in Dallas, Texas.
What You'll be Doing :
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and diligently observe patients.
- Accurately document patients' medical histories and symptoms.
- Contribute to the development of patient care plans and enhance existing ones.
- Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests as required.
- Operate and monitor medical equipment as necessary for patient care.
- Diagnose health issues and create personalized care plans.
- Administer medications and other treatments following established protocols.
- Monitor patients' health progress and modify treatment plans when needed.
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and maintain open communication with families.
- Educate patients and families on preventive measures, illness management, and treatment plans.
- Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments based on individual patient needs.
- Facilitate smooth patient transitions within healthcare settings.
- Monitor and oversee the start-up status of clinics.
- Provide coverage to additional clinic locations as required.
What we're expecting from you :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in family medicine as a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant.Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing / Physician Assistant Program.Current Registered PA Licensure in the State of Texas.Board Certification in adult primary care or family practice.Current Medicare provider enrollment with an active PTAN number.Current TX Medicaid provider enrollment with an active TPI number.Hold a current provider card in Basic Life Support (BLS).Possess a provider card in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or willingness to obtain upon hire.Current DEA License, or ability to obtain DEA license upon hire.Experience in geriatric care is preferred.Previous experience with Athena EMR is advantageous.Strong computer skills are essential.Our client believes that the healthcare system should mirror this commonality, creating a more unified and personalized approach.
