Job Summary :

The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is responsible for practicing medicine to include conducting examinations and writing prescriptions. Within physician -APRN collaborative agreement, the APRN exercises autonomy in medical decision-making and provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services with no supervision requirement. May practice in several specialty areas including occupational medicine, surgery, urgent care, family / internal medicine and specialty.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures / Certifications / Registrations Required :

• BSN required; MSN required
• Successful completion of advanced practitioner training and certification as a practitioner from an approved nurse practitioner program
• Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability
• Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state
• Current unrestricted license to practice as an APRN in the Commonwealth of Kentucky
• BLS Certification
