Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry - Per Diem (Nights)

Schedule:

• Per Diem, 12-hour night shifts
• No guaranteed hours

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a per diem night shift role. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients' cardiac rhythms, administering medications, and delivering comprehensive care in a telemetry unit.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to alarms, and intervene as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Guide and support patient/family teaching and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Accurately document care and maintain standards of practice.
• Communicate promptly with physicians regarding changes in patient condition, test results, or response to treatment.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid state RN license.
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Telemetry or acute care required.
• Experience with ventilator management preferred.
• COVID vaccination/boosters preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
