Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Work day shifts from 8 : 30 AM to 9 : 00 PM

13-week assignment starting as soon as possible

Must have 2+ years of experience with expertise in orthopedics, neurology, robotics, ENT, general surgery, and urology

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS

CNOR certification preferred

Cerner EMR experience required

Expected to float between campuses as needed

Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in operating room patient care

Work as part of surgical team with surgeons, anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel

Responsibilities include ensuring supplies availability, maintaining case timeliness, communicating with families

Update physician preference cards and scrub / assist physicians during surgical cases

Supervise personnel delivering patient care according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, and hospital policies

Provide comprehensive operating room nursing care following regulatory standards and physician orders
