We are seeking a Permanent Physician - Geriatric Medicine in Michigan .

Permanent Physician - Geriatric Medicine

Position Type : Permanent

Specialty : Physician - Geriatric Medicine

Location : Michigan

Rate : Open & Negotiable

Shift : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM

Start Date : TBD

End Date : N / A

Position Details :

Patient Population : Geriatric patients in nursing facilities and advanced care coordination programs

Setting : Nursing facilities and outpatient geriatric care

Responsibilities :

  • Provide geriatric care across eight local nursing facilities
  • Support the Trinity Health at Home Thrive Program
  • Teaching opportunities with Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
  • Shared call among providers

Required Procedures : Geriatric assessments and management of complex chronic conditions

EMR System : Not specified

Support Staff : Multidisciplinary geriatric care team

Days Per Month : Full-time (Monday Friday)

On-Call / Weekends : Call shared among providers; flexibility in schedule

Submission Requirements :

  • Board Eligible (must become Board Certified within 2 years) OR Board Certified in Geriatric Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with geriatrics experience Required
  • Experience working with geriatric population Required
  • MI license (or willing to obtain) Required
  • DEA (or willing to obtain) Required
  • BLS and ACLS (or willing to obtain) Required
