As a Software Engineer Lead within PNC's Lending Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL. The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis.

As a Software Engineer Lead, you will be part of an Agile engineering team where you will be responsible for technical design and development within our Lending Technology line of business. Additionally, you will work with our testers to address bugs or defects and propose & design solutions.

Due to the nature of the position, we are seeking candidates passionate in Software Engineering with experience such as :

• Architectural guidance and leading the design and development of scalable web applications using Angular for front-end and Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks) for back-end services.
• Deep understanding of OOP principles, collections, generics, multithreading, and concurrency.
• Designing and implementing distributed systems using RESTful APIs, messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and service discovery.
• Mentor and coach a team of engineers, fostering technical growth, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across front-end and back-end technologies.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary : $55,000.00 – $158,700.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and / or individual performance.
