The EP / Cath Lab Technologist (PRN) is responsible to the Team Leader and Department Manager. He / she works in a work team committed to a common purpose and goals. The technologist promotes the mission of the hospital by enabling quality patient care in a cost effective environment. In this role, they assess, plan, implement and evaluate radiological services in interventional cardiology consistent with professional practice standards to optimize patient outcomes and promote interdisciplinary communication. He / she is responsible to practice within their scope of licensure in accordance with approved policies, procedures and protocols. The technologist contributes to positive outcomes and meeting the cultural expectations of the organization by exhibiting professional behavior and expertise. He / she shares responsibility for all aspects of patient and team functions. Must identify opportunities for and contribute to the improvement of quality, safety and cost, as well as patient, customer, employee satisfaction.

Certifications Essential : License to practice occupation in the State of Florida as required. Certifications : Per department or hospital requirements and relevant policies. CVT graduates must pass the Registered Cardiovascular Specialist Certification(RCIS) within one year of hire date.
