Advanced Houston Specialty Hospital is looking for a Occupational Therapist to lead and develop a team of health care professionals in our newly renovated facility at 205 Hollow Tree Lane, Spring, TX.
Rate : $45 / hr DOE
Position Summary :
The Occupational Therapist (OT) assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates therapeutic interventions designed to enhance functional independence, adaptive skills, and quality of life. This position plays a key role in promoting rehabilitation, safety, and well-being for individuals with physical, cognitive, or psychosocial impairments while adhering to all applicable laws, regulations, and facility security protocols.
Essential Functions :
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his / her capabilities as determined by management.
Education and Experience Requirements :
A Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current and active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Texas. Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience required; experience in correctional, behavioral health, or hospital setting highly desirable. Basic Life Support certification required. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Post Hire Requirements :
Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements to include maintaining licenses, certifications, and passing an annual background check.
