Travel Nurse RN - Progressive Care Unit - $2,109 per week in Lynchburg, VA

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Intermediate Care Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum years of experience required License : Active state license required upon start Certifications : NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, BLS Must-Have : Charge experience preferred, Cerner preferred Description : Replacing current staff member. Prior travel experience is required for all positions. Charge responsibilities may be required, and training will be provided. Contracts available for 36 or 48 hours per week. Assignments are available for 13 to 16 weeks. Block scheduling can no longer be accommodated but weekend-only requests will be considered. Patient population includes a mix of med-surg, tele, cardiac IMCU, neuro patients, and CVA patients. Assignments end on Saturday. Unit tries to follow a schedule of two out of three weekends a month based on needs. Locals within a specified distance are not accepted. Client may cancel assignments up to a certain time frame due to census. All team members are expected to contribute positively to the work environment, especially when interacting with students and new hires. Float requirement is not applicable.
