Virtual Small Business Banker

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Represents the bank in partnering to conduct active prospect interviews and onboarding as well as existing customer relationship expansion with Small Business Clients (-$5MM revenue). Position is designed to lead and assist in the generation of new loans, deposits, treasury and other related business for the line of business while meeting the Bank's existing and prospective business customer's needs.
2. Assists and reviews applications and required documentation to fully understand the clients financial situation.
3. Manage relationships with small business banking clients through service and support such as overseeing maintenance of client accounts, problem resolution and periodic relationship reviews ensuring a quality client experience.
4. Acts as an expert advisor to the small business owner on financial management covering a full range of financial products and services including deposits, loans, credit cards, treasury services, insurance and investments.
5. Develop strong professional relationships with other Bank department associates as well as supplemental business lines and vendors to cross sell and generate appropriate business product and service recommendations to help clients meet their goals and expand client relationships.
6. Facilities on-line meetings with client, branch referrer, Treasury, FiServ, ADP, Wealth and other partners within the bank to further deepen cross-selling efforts. Refers lending opportunities to bank partners.
7. Participates in civic and community activities to promote the Bank's diverse products and services, maintain professional network relationships and strengthen community ties.
8. Serves on CRA Board or committee to help strengthen communities and meet Bank's CRA objectives.
9. Educate the borrower on business line process, structure, and set expectations.
