Neuro-Critical Care Faculty Opportunity Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, Paul L. Foster School of Medicine Department of Neurology The Department of Neurology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso) is seeking two full-time Neuro-Critical Care physicians for faculty positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher . This is a new position with a proposed start date of July 1, 2024 . Position Details: Title : Assistant Professor or higher (based on qualifications) FTE : 1.0 (full-time) Department : Neurology Minimum Qualifications: M.D. or D.O. degree Board Certification in Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency Program Successful completion of an ACGME- or UCNS-accredited Neuro-Critical Care Fellowship Program in the U.S. Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure in Texas Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in Spanish and English Regional or emerging national recognition in the area of specialty (for consideration at Associate Professor rank or higher) Responsibilities: Provide inpatient and outpatient adult neurology services, including care for critically ill neurological patients and stroke consults at affiliated hospitals and outpatient clinics Supervise and teach residents and medical students, including lectures and clinical instruction Participate in scholarly activity and research Serve on institutional committees and participate in academic governance Engage in community service activities aligned with the institutional mission Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations Follow all institutional and departmental policies and procedures How to Apply: If you are interested in this opportunity or would like to learn more, please contact: Ryan Jordan Jordan Search Consultants
