Description

We're looking for an experienced massage therapist to join our dynamic team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is well-versed in different types of massage and massage techniques, and attentive to each client's needs and physical condition. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate each client's physical condition, stress level, and medical history to determine the most effective types of massage for their course of treatment
  • Provide added value to client's with suggestions for stretching, strengthening, stress relief, and overall wellness maintenance
  • Recommend additional products or services that may benefit the client
  • Oversee client plans and treatment progression, and maintain accurate treatment records
  • Treat clients safely and effectively using the appropriate therapeutic massage techniques that meet their needs

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois massage therapy license in good standing
  • Experience working in a clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have graduated high school or received an equivalent degree
  • Over one year of work experience as a massage therapist
  • Must have licensure that complies with state and local laws
  • Completion of a massage therapy program preferred
