Child & Family Support Services (CFSS) is accepting applications for a Full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist (Recruiter) in our Phoenix Office supporting CFSS operations Statewide.
We are seeking a dedicated and people-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our mission of delivering high-quality behavioral health services. This role is responsible for attracting and hiring qualified clinicians, support staff, and administrative professionals who are committed to improving the lives of our families. Recruiter Job Responsibilities :
Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hires for behavioral health roles.
Recruit for a variety of positions such therapists, counselors, case managers, and support staff across a variety of locations state-wide.
Collaborate with clinical leaders and program managers to understand staffing needs,
Post job descriptions across relevant job boards, career sites, universities, and professional networks.
Source candidates through multiple channels
Conduct initial phone screens to evaluate experience, credentials, culture fit and alignment with organizational values.
Conducting interviews, attending job fairs and other events in the community.
Ensure compliance with hiring processes including credentialing, background checks, and licensure verification.
Maintain accurate and organized candidate pipelines and notes within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on open roles, candidate progress, and hiring trends.
Support employer branding initiatives that highlight the organization’s mission, culture, and behavioral health programs.
Travel to other locations for interviews, job fairs, hiring events
Performing other duties related to the position.
The position will require a variety of skills such as active listening, reading and comprehension, oral and written expression, critical thinking, and problem solving. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
Recruiter Education / Experience Needed :
High school diploma or GED (related college courses or certificate programs preferable)
2 years of related experience or Related bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Experience recruiting or sourcing for Behavioral Health roles preferred.
Experience managing data, reporting and effectively utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) required.
Proficiency must be demonstrated in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Google Sheets.
Recruiter Requirements
Must be 21 years or older
Valid Arizona Driver's License with an acceptable 39 month driving record
Reliable transportation, including proof of Insurance
Candidates are required to submit a negative drug test
Obtain an Arizona DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
Complete Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid training
