We are urgently seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Project Engineering who can lead and manage engineering projects with a focus on innovation and growth. This role is ideal for a seasoned project manager who aspires to advance into a director-level position. We are seeking candidates that have manufacturing or construction backgrounds. This company specializes in high-performance automation and machining systems for producing micro-precision components in industries like medical device, automotive, and electronics. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing and growing a highly diversified engineering department.

Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage a team comprising of project managers and administrative staff, ensuring efficient project execution and delivery
• Oversee the preparation of RFPs, proposals, and submittals, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
• Collaborate closely with the general manager and receive support from the leadership team to organically grow the department
• Create and maintain strong client relationships and influence the sales team and market direction
• Manage project budgets, oversee customer interactions, and ensure alignment with the company's strategic goals

Work Environment : This company is based in Southern Denver. This role requires up to 20% travel. This role is NOT an engineering role, this is a PM / Director role.
