Job Description

Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating manufacturing equipment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and productivity.Key Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment independently, efficiently, and safely while maintaining required quality standards.
• Meet customer requirements by following detailed work instructions, including work orders, specification sheets, and production reporting.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment, including greasing, oiling, and cleaning in accordance with SQF and internal GMP standards.
• Properly handle, store, and dispose of hazardous waste in compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Recognize and communicate equipment or process issues to maintenance or supervisory staff, recommending corrective actions when needed.
• Comply with all GMP, AIB, and company safety procedures.
• Identify and correct manufacturing issues that affect production efficiency or quality.
• Set up machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure production readiness.
• Load and unload materials and parts as needed.
• Ensure all production areas are clean, organized, and compliant with company standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating manufacturing or production machinery preferred.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals.
• Must be able to stand, lift, and move materials for the duration of the shift.
