Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Payroll Administrator to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $40.00 to $43.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary administrator for the HRIS platform, ensuring the system is used effectively and consistently across the organization.
Lead system enhancements and module rollouts while troubleshooting issues and removing barriers for users.
Develop training materials, host sessions for staff, and maintain clear documentation, guidelines, and best practices.
Coordinate system configurations, integrations, and data workflows to improve efficiency and support accurate payroll and HR operations.
Manage biweekly payroll processing, perform system audits, and assist with compliance reviews, year?end activities, and audit support.
Requirements :
4+ years of HRIS experience, preferably with exposure to multi?state payroll and Paylocity?based processes.
A Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field, along with experience supporting HRIS tools and system implementations.
Demonstrate strong Excel skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office for reporting and daily tasks.
Maintain strong organizational and time?management abilities with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
Communicate effectively across departments, working well with diverse teams and navigating sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications :
Understand HRIS implementation practices, particularly within Paylocity, and apply strong attention to detail in system work.
Meet deadlines reliably while providing strong customer service and supporting users throughout the organization.
Adapt to shifting priorities and evolving processes in a fast?moving environment.
Apply knowledge of payroll tax setups, multi?state requirements, and benefit?related processes to support HR and finance functions.
