Finance Expert Consultant - WASH

A company is looking for a Finance Expert- WASH consultant to support financial strategy development and financial leveraging initiatives in the WASH sector.

Key Responsibilities

Develop finance strategies and conduct desk reviews of financial flows and investment trends in WASH

Identify financing gaps and structure blended finance initiatives to attract private investment in water and sanitation programs

Engage with stakeholders to validate findings and finalize the WASH finance strategy and recommendations for partnerships

Required Qualifications

Advanced degree in Investment, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field

Minimum of five years' experience in development finance or public finance, preferably in WASH sector analysis

Experience in financial modeling, risk assessment, and structuring blended finance initiatives

Fluency in English or French; knowledge of additional languages is a plus

Experience working in development contexts such as UN, MDBs, or NGOs
