This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, ensuring quality and continuity of care. The RN will float to other like kind units or related specialties within scope/skillset as needed to meet the needs of the unit. Key Responsibilities Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor patients for changes in condition and report findings to the appropriate healthcare professional. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Float to other like kind units or related specialties within scope/skillset as needed. Work with manager for shifts that meet needs of the unit. Participate in every other weekend and holiday rotation. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois. Certification in Critical Care (RN Critical Care).
