Client Support Associate

Location : Onsite

Pay Range : $25.00 $29.00 per hour

Schedule : MondayFriday 8 : 00 a.m.5 : 00 p.m. (2 days / week 10 : 00 a.m.7 : 00 p.m.; employee may select the later days excluding Mondays).

Type : Full-Time Contract-to-Hire (initial 3-month contract with potential extension or FTE conversion)

Hours per Day : 8

Some weekend or overtime hours may be required based on business needs.

Position Overview

The Client Support Associate will serve as the onsite IT support resource for the facility providing day-to-day technical assistance to internal employees. This includes managing new hire onboarding maintaining onsite printers installing and configuring software and hardware and resolving technical issues across workstations and networks.

Youll act as the face of IT for the location ensuring smooth technology operations while maintaining a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify manage escalate and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Install configure and maintain software print drivers and utilities across workstations and computer networks.
  • Troubleshoot IT issues including hardware software and networking problems.
  • Issue laptops replace or repair hardware and perform system updates.
  • Maintain and monitor onsite printers and other IT equipment.
  • Manage internal support tickets and chat-based service requests (no call center).
  • Provide remote and onsite support to internal USF employees.
  • Participate in a 34 week training period with hands-on shadowing and guided instruction.
  • Record and manage daily ticket volumes ranging from 10 to 60 depending on site demand.
  • Required Qualifications

  • 2 years of IT support experience including hardware setup system builds and basic network troubleshooting.
  • 2 years of customer service experience in a professional environment.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems .
  • Experience troubleshooting printers desktops and laptops .
  • Understanding of network infrastructure and ability to resolve connectivity issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with VPN support and configurations .
  • IT-related degree or certifications (CompTIA A Network etc.) preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience supporting large enterprise environments or multi-site organizations.

  • Training : 34 weeks all equipment provided by USF.
  • Travel : None required.
  • Markets Supported : 70 nationwide with 12 IT associates per site.
