Engineering - Manufacturing Engineer

The Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing methods and processes to produce company products. This role ensures a culture of safety is maintained in all processes and throughout the company, supports equipment maintenance and calibration, develops and maintains standard operating procedures and work instructions, executes validations, and analyses process data. This position is part of the Process Engineering Team located in Carlsbad, CA and will be onsite.

As part of the Process Engineering Team, you will report to the Sr. Process Engineering Manager responsible for :

• Lead / execute assigned projects, validation, and changes to standard operating procedures and work instructions
• Identify, plan, and execute projects to achieve labelling system migration as well as capacity, cost, yield, reliability, and cycle time improvements.
• Streamline, simplify, and poka-yoke processes with a focus on safety, quality, waste reduction, and cost improvement.
• Apply Continuous Improvement tools, specifically process variability reduction through yield & CTQ monitoring, process experiments, and action plan execution resulting from the implementation of these tools.
