Position Description
Location: You will be conducting audits throughout the Atlanta area, using a company vehicle provided. Vehicle is kept at home, no mustering point in the morning.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8:30a-5p (we can be somewhat flexible)
Pay: $14/hr, full benefits package offered
Job Purpose Opus Inspection, Inc. is a software and electronic hardware-driven global leader in the Automotive Technology Service industry. Opus’ technologies and services help our state partners meet strict US EPA Clean Air regulations by managing vehicle inspection programs, Vehicle Information Databases, and developing differentiated solutions for remote vehicle monitoring.
This position helps maintain the integrity of the Georgia Clean Air Force Program by ensuring all vehicle emission testing stations are in compliance with regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently plan daily audit routes that are both efficient and focused on stations deemed a priority.
- Before arriving at station, research previous audit history to find trends, notate previous failures, and suspicions of fraudulent activity.
- Conduct on-site audits of testing stations to ensure testing station conforms to state mandated regulations and notate deficiencies in the station, inspector, equipment and any fraudulent activity.
- Create clear and concise reports that note any deficiencies in station set up, procedures, and equipment, as well as and making corrective action recommendations to resolve deficiencies or for improvements to the testing stations.
- Follow processes for the creation, completion, and delivery of all audit related materials such as audit reports, audit findings, and other documentation.
- Work with the Overt Manager in developing and maintaining audit policies and procedures.
- Maintain, safely use, secure and account for company-owned property ( cell phone, computer(s), vehicle).
- Represent Georgia’s Clean Air Force in an assertive, helpful and professional manner.
- Perform other tasks as assigned/required to ensure the smooth operation of the program .

- Strong written communication skills
- Must be self-motivated
- Able to analyze individual situations and make on spot decisions.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving record.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Requirements include ability to bend and stoop and lift 25 pounds
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with good driving record.
- 1-2 years of work experience
- Previous exposure to vehicle emissions testing program or automotive industry helpful.
