Unit Overview : Work in our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit caring for patients post-surgery for :

• Craniotomies for bleed evacuation, AVMs, and tumor resections
• Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries
• Stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program

Your Responsibilities :

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based patient care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal results
• Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Enhance patient experience throughout the care journey

Licensure and Education :

• Registered Nurse license in practice state required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Completion of an accredited Nursing program
• Typically requires at least 1 year of clinical nursing experience

Physical Requirements :

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, perform transfers, and manage all physical demands of patient care
• Ability to work with protective equipment and in various health care settings
