Security Officer - Flex Unarmed Hospital

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible throughout the facility to help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in supporting a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors while providing exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate : $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeMon10 : 00 PM - 06 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate and collaborate with staff, visitors, and first responders as needed to address concerns or incidents.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with company and client protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Proof of vaccination is required for hospital assignments.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
