Coordinator of Curriculum Systems Advising

REPORTS TO :

The Coordinator of Curriculum Systems Advising will be someone who is committed to implementing these values in creative ways when executing day-to-day tasks and responsibilities.   POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Position responsibilities include but are not limited to :

Collaborate with the Curriculum Systems Advising and Math teams to provide input on the professional development pathways for teacher leaders, instructional coaches, and administrators  Support facilitation of group learning experiences across the district, occasionally serving as the lead facilitator Lead the development and use of math curricular materials for a grade span, including curriculum maps, assessment tools, and other tools to support teachers and students in meeting the demands set by standards Participate in collaborative spaces with other Partnership teams, such as the Math Team, Transform Schools Team, and other dynamic teaming structures, as needed  Maintaining positive and responsive relationships with school and district leadership   Implementation Monitoring & Project Management Conduct classroom observations and collect teacher practice data to support department-wide growth and promote student learning Assist site leaders in observing for and supporting effective instruction of high-quality curriculum Work with the Director of Curriculum Systems Advising and Vice President of School Transformation to develop and execute priority initiatives for math instruction at LAUSD schools Maintains records related to school support, including observation data and ILT meetings, coaching, professional development, and other requests from the Director of Curriculum Systems Advising   POSITION FIRST-YEAR PRIORITIES A successful first year in this role will look like :
