Front of House Team Member

Position Summary :

At Chick-fil-A, the Team Member role is more than just a job; it's an opportunity. As a Front of House Team Member at Chick-fil-A, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, taking orders, handling transactions, refreshing beverages, working the drive-thru, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area and drive-thru lanes, and upholding Chick-fil-A's high standards of quality and service. This position is a non-exempt hourly position.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, providing prompt and courteous service.

2. Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system, both at the front counter and drive-thru.

3. Process payments, handle cash, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.

4. Refresh beverages and ensure drink stations are clean and stocked.

5. Operate the drive-thru headset system to take orders and provide excellent service to drive-thru guests.

6. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area and drive-thru lanes, including tables, chairs, floors, and windows.

7. Monitor drive-thru orders to ensure accuracy and prompt delivery.

8. Assist with restocking supplies and maintaining inventory levels as needed.

9. Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines to ensure the safety of our guests and team members.

10. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.

11. Uphold Chick-fil-A's values and mission while representing the brand positively to guests.

Qualifications :

1. Minimum 17 years of age.

2. Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred, but not required.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

5. Willingness to learn and follow Chick-fil-A's standards and procedures.

6. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

7. Eligible to work in the United States.

• Lift and / or move up to 50 pounds such as cases of food items or kitchen equipment.

• Ability to frequently stand and walk; bend, stoop, squat, kneel and reach overhead. Reach above the head and reach forward. Stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, equipment, or controls; use hand strength to grasp items; and to talk and hear.
• Frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk.
• Ability to comply with California Retail Food Code
