The Role

The Director of Nursing plays a vital role in bringing this vision to life. In this position, you’ll guide and support our nursing teams, ensuring that every client’s care is not only clinically excellent but also compassionate and coordinated. You’ll partner with families, providers, and staff to build a culture of dignity, trust, and support—so no client feels alone in their care journey.

This role is both leadership and advocacy. You’ll oversee day-to-day clinical operations, mentor and coach nurses, ensure compliance, and serve as a steady presence for clients and their families.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and inspire the nursing team to deliver seamless, compassionate, client-centered care.
• Ensure care plans are implemented with excellence and regularly evaluated to meet each client’s needs.
• Collaborate with families, physicians, and staff to coordinate resources and services across Unifi Healthcare.
• Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and support for nursing staff in the field.
• Oversee onboarding, orientation, and continuing education to keep staff skilled and confident.
• Monitor documentation, assessments, and chart reviews for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate clearly and consistently with staff, families, and leadership to keep everyone connected and informed.
• Participate in community outreach and represent Unifi Healthcare as a trusted partner in EEOICPA / RECA programs.
• Support compliance with state and federal regulations while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compassion.
