Job Summary

The Warehouse Inventory and Purchasing Clerk oversees shipping, receiving, purchasing and inventory activities in a production and fulfillment environment. This role works closely with the CSR team, Production Coordinator team, and warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory counts, ensure proper storage and labeling of customer products, oversee accurate product movement and storage, and support efficient workflow and clear communication across departments and teams. This position plays a key role in upholding product accuracy, customer satisfaction, and smooth communication throughout the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately, on time, and according to customer requirements.
• Enter and send purchases orders for needed components.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
• Ensure all product is properly labeled, stored, rotated, and organized in alignment with customer specifications and FIAS procedures.
• Coordinate closely with the CSR team to communicate shipment status, inventory levels, and any issues that may impact customer timelines.
• Partner with Production Coordinators to support production schedules, material needs, and timely movement of product between departments.
• Create and maintain documentation for shipments, receipts, inventory adjustments, and any required reporting.
• Monitor warehouse workflow and recommend improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and safety.
• Train and guide warehouse staff in proper receiving, picking, packing, labeling, and storage procedures.
• Support cycle counts, year-end inventory, and customer audits as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, housekeeping expectations, and company policies.
