[job_card.job_description]Work with vcfo team members and partner with leadership teams at companies based in and around Austin Engage with the clients team adapting to a variety of client environments and industries Generation of timely and accurate monthly financial statements Manage full accounting cycle Creation and maintenance of corporate forecasts Experience managing other accounting staff and / or working in a team environment Work on multiple significantly varied client engagements at one time Assisting in the financial preparation of Board packages Development of financial policies and procedures Providing guidance and leadership in the enhanced use of ERP systems conversions and / or the selection of future software as required to support financial operations BBA in Accounting or Finance required MBA or CPA a plus 7 years of progressive leadership experience Ability to lead and effectively manage Assistant Controllers and junior level accounting professionals Leadership in the development of financial policies and procedures In depth experience with accounting software packages including QuickBooks NetSuite Intacct or other mid-market accounting packages Employ an entrepreneurial spirit and harness our training and coaching to expand business networks and find leads for new client work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage accounting staff in a team environment Competitive base salary Commissions for lead referrals that become clients Flexible schedules to accommodate work / life balance Medical dental and vision insurance Company match on 401k contributions Short-term and long-term disability (tax free) Life insurance Unlimited earned PTO and company paid holidays Paid time to support networking activities Paid Admin time for your development and access to company-paid training to support continuing professional education (CPE) requirements Access to our corporate condominium in Port Aransas Texas Give back to the community through our vcfo gives program

We do that by providing fractional finance and human resources / people operations consulting services to small and medium-sized clients ($10M to $300M) in every industry you can imagine. CEO Ellen Wood co-founded vcfo in 1996 intent on helping a wide variety of clients develop the strategies and adopting the tactics they needed by providing a slice of expertise at an affordable price point.
