Job Description

The Shipping / Receiving Associate. This position will include duties such as vendor receiving processing and shipping of products. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under general supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment Reports to the Regional Production Manager.

Responsibilities :

  • Ship and receive inventory in the warehouse
  • Use the business system to input and retrieve data
  • Verify accuracy and quality in accordance with established procedures
  • Create and maintain bins related to material for upcoming production orders
  • Perform other related tasks as needed

Requirements :

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and Outlook
  • ERP / MRP system experience is a plus
  • Must have precise detail orientation as well as organization and time management abilities
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or production office environment
