[job_card.job_description]Develop and implement plans for cost reduction and plant efficiency improvements. As a project leader, develop a complete project plan including resources, costs, benefits and schedule; assume full responsibility for all aspects of the project to ensure it meets goals and schedule; communicate project status to partners as appropriate; and follow up to ensure project results are sustained. Using lean tools, social skills and leadership abilities, lead and facilitate kaizen activities Lead and support capital expenditure requests and implementations using basic cost justification and business management principles. Support the completion of equipment and facility enhancements to promote safety, quality, and cost / service improvements by developing tooling, fixtures, gauging, instructional aids, improved layouts, etc. Advise and assist maintenance personnel in solving equipment problems and machine repairs. Develop standardized work and revisions to it based upon continuous improvement initiatives. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering required. 1+ year of experience in a manufacturing environment within engineering preferred Experience in programs such as AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc. Experience in initiating and guiding Lean Manufacturing and ongoing improvement initiatives; preferred A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day Our principal office is in London and our management office in the United States is in Minneapolis.
