Infrastructure Engineer

Contract Duration : 18 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
• 8+ Years of hands-on experience at scale on Middleware Messaging environments including IBM MQ (aka WebSphere MQ), IBM Message Broker (ACE / IIB), KAFKA, Solace
• MQ Administration - performing activities build, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting, deploys, configuring, patching and compliance.
• Experience in configuring MQ Queue Managers and troubleshooting issues involving MQ Clusters.
• Creating, configuring, and maintaining MQ Objects like Queue Managers, Queues, Channels, Listeners, Topics
• Ability to interact with all levels of an organization, including leadership.
• Strong team or technical leadership experience Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• 12+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work experience, training, military experience, education.
• Good understanding of MQ monitoring tools like IR360
• Experience supporting an enterprise-level environment.
• Understands compliance and risk management requirements for supported system area.
• Provide implementation support for key risk initiatives.
• Experience with IBM MQ Appliance
• Understanding Incident Management System (ServiceNow preferred)
• Monitoring Alerts, Batch Failures, Service Now Queue.
• Handle outage calls efficiently, triage any issues, and fix them.
• Experience in Ansible, and UDeploy
