URGENTLY HIRING $5,000 SIGN on BONUS with 24 month commitment. Must have at least one year experience. FTE : 1.0, Shift : Day, Schedule : Monday-Friday

Position Summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) is an integral part of the Physician / Advanced Practice Provider (APP) office team working under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner. Work situations require performance of safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the MA-C. The MA-C has continuous contact with physicians, APPs, nurses, front office staff, patients and their families / caregivers.

Responsibilities

Fulfills patient care responsibilities as assigned which may include :

• Organizing patient flow in collaboration with the front office staff
• Interviewing patients
• Obtaining vital signs
• Assisting patients in preparing for exams or treatments
• Performing specimen collection, including venipuncture
• Administration of medications in compliance with Washington State Department of Health regulations and documented competency
• Relaying instructions / information to patients and their families / caregivers

Requirements

Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants

Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting preferred

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $25.28 - $36.45 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to : skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and / or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
