Summary

Calvary Christian Preschool is a faith-based center that is a part of Calvary Christian School. We are a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church. We place a high priority on promoting literacy, teaching social-emotional skills, building character, and demonstrating Christ’s love through word and action. We are seeking an afternoon teacher / closer for our aftercare hours who can work from 2 : 15-5 : 15 Monday - Friday. This is a year-round position. We are looking for someone who is professional, hardworking, creative, energetic, compassionate, goal oriented, and passionate about making a lasting impact on today’s children.

Duties

• Organize and implement age-appropriate activities.
• Create a positive atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness of classrooms
• Ensure a safe structured learning environment.
• Maintain accurate tracking of children following DSS Ratios
• Complete ongoing training each year in order to meet all requirements for DSS

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Experience in a licensed childcare facility CPR / First-Aid Certifications are a plus, but not required.

We will provide training and pay for Certifications as needed.
