Location : 850 Boylston Street Endoscopy Center

Schedule : Monday to Friday 9AM to 5 : 30PM

Job Summary

Summary : Responsible for performing sterilization procedures on medical instruments and equipment in accordance established procedures infection control standards industry standards recommended practices on sterilization and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions

• Processes specialty and general instruments.
• Resets instrument sets without error.
• Decontaminates instruments and equipment according to procedure.
• Maintain Central Sterile Department stock levels.
• Prepares and assembles surgical tray and equipment following established tray listings for issue storage or further processing.
• Communicates instrument repair needs to supervisor

Qualifications

Education : High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Licenses and Credentials : Certified Registered Central Service Technician CRCST - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) preferred

Experience : related experience 1-2 years preferred
