Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout

• Support project managers in schedule tracking, cost management, and resource planning

• Coordinate procurement and monitor material deliveries according to project timelines

• Participate in job site visits to ensure progress, safety, and quality compliance

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and stakeholders to meet project goals

• Manage project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, meeting notes, and reports

• Use construction software such as Procore to track deliverables and project status

• Maintain clear communication with all team members and external partners

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related discipline

• 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction in a project engineering or support role

• Proficiency in construction software (Procore, Autodesk, Microsoft Project)

• Solid understanding of building systems, safety regulations, and construction sequencing

• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment

• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to local job sites as required
