CNC Programmer

Our client, a growing aerospace and defense organization, has an immediate need for an experienced CNC Programmer, to join their winning team in West Chester. Our candidate of choice will help produce the high-quality parts that keep our operations moving. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Program, set up, and operate CNC machines (Must Be able to operate latest gen FANUC CNC controller) for precision machining. Use CAD / CAM software (SolidWorks or equivalent) to create and edit CNC programs. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications. Be able to perform inspections with precision measurement tools. Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC machines as needed. Collaborate with engineering and assembly teams to ensure components meet project requirements. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Operate and Program CNC machine 1 (DN solutions SVM 4100 Day One without training). Operate and Program CNC machine 2 (Tormach 1100-MX experienced with or willing to train). CO2 Laser operation (experienced with or willing to train). Operate manual Mill (Southwest PROTO-TRACK ). Operate 3D-Printers (experienced with or willing to train). Use various shop tools such as Band saw, Cold Saw, Grinder, Tumbler, belt sander, and shear safely and effectively. KEY REQUIREMENTS : Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of experience. Experience programming and operating CNC machines (Fanuc). Certification in CNC machining, precision manufacturing, or related field. Familiarity with ERP / MRP systems. Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices. Ability to work independently or with help in a fast-paced environment and handle shifting priorities. Proficiency in CAD / CAM software (SolidWorks or equivalent). Strong understanding of machining processes and mechanical aptitude. Skilled at reading blueprints, GD&T, and using precision inspection tools. Hands-on experience with hand tools and shop equipment. High attention to detail and focus on producing accurate, high-quality work. U.S. citizenship is required Must Be able to pass drug screening. Must be able to pass background check.
