Job Summary :

We are looking for a motivated and talented Inventory Specialist to join our growing team. Under the general supervision of the Supply Chain Manager and the Operations Manager the inventory specialist is responsible for the overall accuracy of Broadatas inventory and is an essential role in maintaining outside service levels. By completing cycle counts physical inventories and controlling inventory accuracy this role will help identify BCIs initiatives and aid in maintaining key performance indicators. This position works alongside Purchasing and Operation Managers to investigate inventory discrepancies and promote the importance of maintaining a robust accurate inventory.

This is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and document cycle count schedule for the year including year-end auditing.
• Count research and correct variances to accurately reflect current inventory levels.
• Maintain inventory and perform kitting for production projects per established company procedures
• Prepare reports such as inventory balance kit completeness and shortages using BCIs MRP Sage and / or Excel
• Investigate and resolve any variances between inventory reports and physical inventory.
• Record inventory activity within BCIs MRP Sage databases; complete daily transactions and link them to the appropriate departments; assist supervisors with inventory replenishing tasks.
• Sort counts packages labels insures unpacks and / or logs inventory
• Inspect shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and / or purchasing personnel
• Maintain database and prepare routine reports
• Work closely with production planning and purchasing to ensure uninterrupted material flow and to effectively manage material demand
• Performs miscellaneous job-related and other duties as assigned
