Salary :

The Shop PLC Technician is responsible for the setup, assembly, fabrication, diagnostics, and commissioning of new and used equipment in the SIGMA Equipment inventory. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starter, who enjoys working with mechanical and electrical systems, with a strong understanding of PLCs and controls platforms (especially Allen Bradley) to lead troubleshooting, integration, and optimization efforts in a team-oriented, shop environment. This role could require the ability to travel upon request up to 20%.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to ten pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to fifty pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move more than one hundred pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Travel is required for all shop technicians.
