Job Summary and Qualifications

The Trauma Program Coordinator, under the direction of the Trauma Program Director, shares 24-hour responsibility for administering all aspects of the Trauma program with the Trauma Medical Director.  The Trauma Program Coordinator, in collaboration with the Medical Director, is responsible for assuring all Trauma Center verification standards are met as required by the American College of Surgeons and the Nevada Department of Health. The Trauma Program Coordinator is responsible for program assessment, planning, organizing, implementation, budgeting, performance improvement, education, trauma program hospital services utilization, and marketing communications.
