Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide comprehensive speech therapy services for an elementary school setting serving PreK-5th grade students. This contract position runs from November 3rd through May 21st, supporting a caseload of up to 65 students across early childhood and elementary grade levels. Located in Tuscaloosa, AL, this role offers hands-on experience working in a dynamic school environment.

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Certification as an SLP with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or eligible for school-based SLP licensure
  • Experience providing speech therapy services to PreK through 5th grade students
  • Knowledge of school therapy protocols and compliance with educational guidelines
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with educators, parents, and students
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload effectively

Responsibilities :

  • Provide evaluation, treatment, and progress monitoring for speech and language disorders in a school setting
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with educational standards
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to enhance student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to student progress and services
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment

    • Location : Tuscaloosa, Alabama Elementary School (PreK-5th Grade)

    Duration : Contract position from November 3rd to May 21st
