Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting located in Tuscaloosa, AL. This role offers the chance to provide essential support to students with communication and speech development needs, making a meaningful impact on their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support student progress
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to optimize student outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
  • Monitor and adjust therapy interventions as needed to meet student goals
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall educational environment

Desired Qualifications :

  • Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development in children and adolescents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to student-centered care and individualized therapy services
