POSITION PROFILE :

The Facility Security Officer administers and enforces the organization's security policies in compliance with the NISPOM, DCSA regulations, and company policies. This role helps maintain compliance with all government security requirements for classified contracts and supports personnel and physical security programs. This role would primarily be based out of the Camarillo, CA or Norcross, GA facility, but would require occasional travel to other Safran DSI facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Assist the Director of Industrial Security in implementing and managing all aspects of the industrial security program.
• Maintain personnel security records and submit security clearance applications via DISS (Defense Information System for Security) & NBIS (National Background Investigation Services). Ensure Continuous Evaluation (CE) Updates are submitted on schedule
• Support the preparation and submission of visit authorizations (VARs), and process affiliate visit requests
• Create and deliver security education, training, and awareness products.
• Assist with security self-inspections and security reviews; act as alternate POC for security compliance inspections.
• Maintain document control for classified materials; oversee proper marking, transmission, and destruction.
• Support incident reporting, administrative inquiries, and mitigation efforts related to security violations or suspicious contacts.
• Assist with the Insider Threat Program.
• Assist with the Annual Implementation and Compliance Report, and other SSA-related reporting
• Support compliance with NISPOM, DoD Manuals, and the Companys security procedures.
• Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and business leadership.
• Ability to carry out multiple assignments concurrently.
• Additional duties may be assigned, and functions may be modified according to business necessity.

SALARY RANGE :

$85,000 - $105,000 annual salary, plus participation in individual performance bonus plan.
