Resonetics has a great role on our Lightspeed team(R&D) working closely with customers to support our variety of laser projects. This role will be responsible for demonstrating process feasibility and meeting quality specifications on Lightspeed ADL projects. Assist in transitioning Lightspeed ADL projects to production through the PReP process in a small team and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Define plan and complete Lightspeed ADL projects
- Perform complex set up and process development on laser workstations
- Provide technical skill training to laser operators
- Provide project guidance to Application Development Technicians and Associate Application Development Engineers
- Lead the successful transition of Lightspeed ADL projects to production
- Support the Site Director in solving on-going production issues
- Support Sales through the completion quotes
- Generate and update setup sheets work instructions and CAPAs as required
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and work across several departments as required
- Lead cross departmental teams in continuous improvement processes
- Mentor and guide other technical staff to optimized solutions
- Participate in sales support activities including sales presentations customer visits and technical seminars
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
2 years of Engineering experience ideally supporting laser laser technologyBachelor of Science degree in an engineering / science or equivalent experienceAbility to generate machine motion control programs (i.e. G-Code)Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems particularly in medical device manufacturingAbility to create and troubleshoot programs for inspection devices and other auxiliary equipmentAbility to generate drawings and models (2D & 3D CAD) using GD&TAbility to present and convey complex engineering ideas to internal and external customersAbility to read and understand engineering drawings using a GD&T systemAbility to create job related documentation for quality purposesProficient with the use of optical inspection equipment. This may be defined as a magnifier microscope and / or equipment used for measuring capacityProficient with using multiple axis motion controllersAbility to quickly and positively adapt to changing priorities and processesStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work under minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications
Experience with industrial laser such as excimer CO2 DPSS ultrafast and beam deliveriesBasic understanding of laser-material interaction for a specific application (i.e. laser welding excimer laser- polymer etc.) and how to apply that understandingPhysical Demands
Standing and walking for short periods of timeAbility to use a microscope including manipulating small object under a microscopeCompensation
The compensation for this role is competitive and will be based on experience and qualifications. The anticipated range is $63000 - $79000.
