As Electrical Engineer - Power Systems you will be responsible for;

• Lead Battery System Design : Own the design, development, and delivery of advanced battery systems (e.g., Li-ion), ensuring compliance with performance, safety, quality, and cost requirements.
• System Power Budget Management : Define system-level power architecture and requirements, collaborating with mechanical, thermal, and software teams to optimize power consumption and delivery.
• Design & Development : Architect battery systems including protection circuitry, battery management systems (BMS), charging systems, and thermal management. Responsibilities include schematic design, component selection, and creating detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Validation & Testing : Develop and execute design verification plans and functional test procedures. Perform battery safety assessments, failure analysis, and leverage test automation scripts for efficiency.
• Collaboration & Supplier Management : Work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external suppliers to define specifications, manage development for new product introduction (NPI), and support certification processes (e.g., CTIA / IEEE1725).
• Issue Resolution : Analyze and resolve battery-related issues during production and field deployment, ensuring timely corrective actions and continuous improvement.

Location : North Reading, MA

Salary Range : $125,000 - $150,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
