About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Anesthesiology for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Illinois. Starting Dec 29, 2025, this role offers approximately 15 shifts per month, with 24-hour on-call coverage focused on OB call and general anesthesia cases. This opportunity is ideal for professionals seeking flexible scheduling in a dynamic clinical environment while providing essential anesthesia services across a broad range of surgical specialties.

  • Provider Type Needed : Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesiology
  • Schedule : 24-hour on-call (pager), OB call and general coverage, approximately 15 shifts per month (may be grouped or sporadic PRN)

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia services for OB, general surgery, limited orthopedic, limited urology, plastic surgery, and GI cases
  • Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care in accordance with best practices and clinical protocols
  • Respond promptly and effectively to on-call responsibilities, ensuring continuous coverage as scheduled
  • Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
  • Adhere to all regulatory, licensing, and facility requirements

    • Additional Information

  • Active Illinois CRNA license required
  • Clean malpractice history with no background issues required
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required
  • Ability to manage a diverse surgical caseload and adapt to variable scheduling needs
