Lead Quality Assurance Specialist

The Lead Quality Assurance Specialist will be managing, ensuring, and improving capabilities to comply with external standards and regulations. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

Roles and responsibilities include :

• Ensuring compliance to regulations required at point of production.
• Performing audits to ensure compliance with GE Aerospace policies and procedures.
• Evaluating adherence to AS9100 / AS9110 / AS9120 standards and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, CAAC, UK CAA).
• Identifying areas for improvement and providing actionable recommendations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality systems and processes.
• Preparing detailed audit reports and maintaining accurate records of findings and corrective actions.
• Ensuring timely communication of audit results to relevant stakeholders.
• Providing guidance and training to team members on quality standards and auditing practices.
• Supporting the development of robust quality processes across the organization.

Pay and benefits :

The salary range for this position is $81,900.00 - $109,200.00. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. In addition, this position is eligible for a performance bonus / variable incentive plan.
