Teacher Education Adjunct Faculty - Santa Rosa Campus (Spring)

Description

: TEC 602 Multiple Subject Curriculum and Instruction : Visual and Performing Arts is designed to focus on a variety of social justice pedagogies and skills needed to teach in California’s diverse elementary and middle school classrooms. Emphasis is placed on critical self-reflection as the starting point from where student teachers actualize effective social justice arts teaching and assessment practices. Candidates will focus on instructional approaches appropriate for planning and delivering arts-integrated content specific instruction in visual and performing arts to students in Kindergarten through eighth grade. Course Schedule : Class meets on Wednesdays from 7 pm- 9 pm and Saturdays from 9 : 15 am - 1 : 45 pm, January 28- February 18.

Qualifications :

Qualifications include an earned masters of education, K-12 teaching experience, and relevant experience. Full-Time / Part-Time : Part time Pay Rate : Salary Salary Range : $2,256.00 per unit
